I am a stitcher of great slowness and, weirdly perhaps, love the muck ups as much as the things that work out. Suffice it to say that I learn a ton from each project and this blog is a good place to track my stitchery meandering.
For me, it is a place to connect with others of similar ilk and a good repository for useful sewing notes and learnings. Certainly significantly better than my piles of ad hoc scribblings and notebooks most of which are coffee stained, drawn on by the kids or just plain lost.
Theoretically at least I now know where to look to find out which alterations were needed for the top I made my sister eight years ago. Theoretically.
I hope you enjoy your visit – let me know what you think.
